STEM building challenges for preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade. Simple, easy to implement STEM activities even if you have a small classroom.

STEM gives students the opportunity to be creative, problem solve, develop math concepts, develop eye hand coordination, develop fine motor (if the materials are small), and develop inquiry skills. STEM can occur all over the classroom not just in the science center. In my classroom, I utilize the blocks center for STEM as well as my discovery center (my science center). Because when students are building, they are engineers planning, designing, and creating amazing things!

Camping themed centers and activities for preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten students. Fun to do in the fall or spring!

Everyone loves a camping theme. Learning about nature, forest animals, insects, the night sky, rivers, fishing, and smores will get your students interested and excited to come to school. And we all know, when students are interested, they are more engaged, they gain new knowledge and skills, and they develop a love of learning.

I just wanted to stop in and share some of my camping themed activities I do in the classroom with my little learners.
